How the apps were scored
Every app is scored on the same two axes. Enterprise Readiness reads how strongly an app is built, sold and bought for large organisations, from four weighted signals. Functionality is the average rung across 18 document management features, weighted by Kano class, and three of those features are dealbreakers that must reach L4. Automation is scored on its own and does not change Functionality, and a Data Reliability Score shows how much of the evidence is public, independent and precise. 1. CloudFiles
CloudFiles is a Salesforce-native document management app. It scores 4.4 of 5 on Functionality and 4.8 of 5 on Enterprise Readiness (Highly ready), and passes all three dealbreakers.
Enterprise and regulated organisations make up most of CloudFiles' named customers, and four of its seven identified reviewers work at firms of 1,000 or more staff. It is independently audited for SOC 2 Type II, publishes a REST API alongside an Apex client, and includes all support in every paid plan. It rates highest or joint highest on 16 of the 18 features.

2. 24Files
24Files, made by 24Flow, is a Salesforce-native SharePoint connector. It scores 3.9 of 5 on Functionality and 3.3 of 5 on Enterprise Readiness (Mixed), and passes all three dealbreakers.
24Files publishes a flat price list, with the same features in every tier, and clears all three dealbreakers. What holds its Enterprise Readiness back is a thin public record of who buys it: no published case studies, and a Capterra profile whose only review comes from its own managing director. It keeps no standalone SOC 2 report and offers Apex methods without a REST API.

3. XfilesPro
XfilesPro, made by XfilesPro Labs, is a Salesforce document management app. It scores 3.4 of 5 on Functionality and 3.3 of 5 on Enterprise Readiness (Mixed), and passes all three dealbreakers.
XfilesPro publishes a per-user price, clears all three dealbreakers and shows a file's version history inside Salesforce. Its Technical design is held back by what could not be checked: its documentation site returned a certificate error on 21 and 28 September 2026, its SOC 2 Type II claim rests on a 2025 blog post, and no public API reference was found. Its Automation score, 2.0, is the lowest of the five.

4. Share Connect
Share Connect, made by Appiphony, is a Salesforce-native SharePoint connector. It scores 3.4 of 5 on Functionality and 2.6 of 5 on Enterprise Readiness (Leans low), and passes two of three dealbreakers, missing Ingestion.
Share Connect sells self-serve per-user plans from $6 a month and opens Microsoft 365 files for editing inside Salesforce. It stores links to SharePoint files rather than syncing them and caps uploads from Flow at about 11 MB; Ingestion rates L3, below the dealbreaker line. Its identified AppExchange reviewers work at small organisations.

5. sFiles
sFiles, made by Upsource Solutions, is a Salesforce app for SharePoint Online. It scores 3.1 of 5 on Functionality and 3.8 of 5 on Enterprise Readiness (Leans high), and passes two of three dealbreakers, missing Permissions.
sFiles has the second-highest Enterprise Readiness of the five, 3.8, and the second-highest Automation score, 4.2, with a documented REST surface and Apex client on its Enterprise tier. Its Functionality is held back by Preview and Move / Copy, which work only through a workaround, and by Permissions below the dealbreaker line. Its one compliance claim, FedRAMP, has no matching record on the FedRAMP Marketplace.
