Internal Record Widget Explained
The Internal Record Widget is a Lightning Web Component placed directly on Salesforce record pages — like Account, Opportunity, or Case — giving internal users instant access to documents stored in external drives such as SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox, or AWS S3. Without leaving Salesforce, users can upload, delete, preview, or share files while adhering to organization-wide permissions and folder structures.

How It Works
When embedded in a record page:
- Admins configure it using a unique Configuration ID
- The widget loads the correct folder or file structure using base paths
- Users can interact with files based on enabled features
- File previews, downloads, sharing, and uploads happen in real time
- All updates reflect on the connected external storage
