The Internal Record Widget is a Lightning Web Component placed directly on Salesforce record pages — like Account, Opportunity, or Case — giving internal users instant access to documents stored in external drives such as SharePoint, Google Drive, Dropbox, or AWS S3. Without leaving Salesforce, users can upload, delete, preview, or share files while adhering to organization-wide permissions and folder structures.
- Links and displays files tied to a specific Salesforce record
- Enables file actions like upload, delete, share, move, rename, preview
- Supports folder creation, folder uploads, and file click behaviors
