Flow Builder Challenge

A hackathon for people who build in Flow

One real Salesforce automation problem, seven days, and 320+ builders from more than ten countries competing to solve it best. The challenge isn't running at the moment — but it will run again, and this is where you find out first.

Flow Builder Challenge
The last edition

How the challenge worked

A single well-scoped problem, judged on how you solved it — not on how many hours you could put in.

One real problem

Every participant got the same genuine Salesforce automation problem to solve using Flow — the kind of thing an admin meets in a live org, not a puzzle invented for a contest.

Seven days to build

A week to design, build and submit your flow. Long enough to think it through properly, short enough to stay a sprint rather than a second job.

Judged on the build

Submissions were reviewed on how cleanly and completely they solved the problem. The top three took CloudFiles trophies, swag and recognition across the community.

Open to everyone

No restrictions on location, age, gender or job title. Admins, developers, consultants and people learning Flow on the side all entered on the same terms.

320+ builders, 10+ countries

The last edition drew more than 320 participants from over ten countries — a genuinely global field competing for the top three spots.

Built to teach

The point was never the prize. Participants came out with a Flow pattern they hadn't built before and a solution they could take back to their own org.
