The CloudFiles Experience Cloud Widget lets external users—like partners or customers—securely upload, view, and manage files on Salesforce Experience Cloud sites. It connects Salesforce records with cloud storage (SharePoint, Google Drive, AWS S3), enabling seamless document collaboration without consuming Salesforce storage or requiring user licenses.
What It Does
- Enables secure document sharing and collection from Experience Cloud users
- Syncs uploaded files to cloud storage instead of Salesforce

How It Works
When added to an Experience Cloud site:
- Admin installs and configures the widget via Site Builder
- A unique Configuration ID sets permissions and view access
- Community users interact with the widget to upload or manage files
- Files sync directly to linked cloud storage
- Metadata from uploaded files is returned for Flow or automation use
